A Couch party split screen game for your family friendly fun! play with up to 4 players and push each other to the death

In this game we work a lot with rag-dolls. This is what you see when the characters wiggle around! It is made by combining multiple objects with rigid-body’s to form a character. This concept took up most of our time. The characters can walk, jump, face-plant and of course push!

Only character wouldn’t make much of a game so to make it a little more fun we added a level with stage hazards. Some hazards are always on but others have to be activated. This makes up the core game-play; push each another player to knock em out and then activate a hazard to eliminate them from that round. If you win 2 out of 3 rounds you will be placed as the winner and put back in de main menu!

The theme of the global gamejam 2018 was: Transmission. We came up with a concept to swap controls. This means that two people share one set of game mechanics. Both players could walk but only one could jump at a time, one could interact at a time and one could grow/shrink at a time. This made for an interesting coöp experience that forces players to communicate with eachother.

My Game is set in a baby room. Around you you’ll find all your favorite toys. But all your beloved toys seem to have something in common. They attack you! And with no way out you grab some weapons and try to survive. More and more toys come to life until they start attacking in bigger and bigger waves. Maybe you need help from some other toddlers?
